So macht ihr allerbestes Hühnerfutter im Winter. Und für uns Menschen: Kimchi-Rezept als Ersatz für Sauerkraut – schmeckt!

Im Winter finden die Hühner kaum etwas Grünes draußen im Garten. Umso wichtiger, ihnen viel frisches Grün aus der Küche in den Stall zu bringen. Achtet bei Temperaturen unter Null auch darauf, dass ihr täglich frisches Wasser zur Verfügung stellt.

Kennt ihr KIMCHI? Es kommt aus Korea und ähnelt unserem Sauerkraut – beides ist milchsauer vergoren. Ins Kimchi kommt:

1 großer Chinakohl
2 Karotten
1 Rettich
1 Bund Frühlingszwiebeln
1 Zwiebel
3 Knollen Knoblauch
1 Stück Ingwer
2 – 3 EL Chilliflocken
2 – 3 EL Chilipulver
2 – 3 EL Fischsoße (wer mag)
Wiegt alles Gemüse. Die Salzmenge zum Einreiben des Chinakohls sollte ungefähr 2% des Gemüsegewichts betragen.

Du brauchst:
Alte Eierkartons (es funktionieren auch die zum Aufklappen)
Altes Speiseöl
In jede Vertiefung etwas Öl träufeln und den Karton vollsaugen lassen. Fertig sind die selbst gemachten Anzünder für Holzherd, Kamin oder Grill.

Im Januar könnt ihr mit verschiedenen Gemüsen mit der Anzucht starten: Chili, Paprika, Physalis, Salate, Lauch, Zwiebeln und so weiter. Mein TIPP: Habt Geduld! Ich säe nur Chilis vor und dämpfe die Aussaaterde, damit Schimmel, Unkrautsamen und Schädlinge keine Chance haben. Saatgut der Chilisorte, die ich anbaue (Blended Lemon, Schärfegrad 4) verlose ich in diesem Video.

Die Chilischoten trockne ich zusammen mit Banane im Dörrautomaten. Mein Rezept: Pizza mit Banane und Chili – schmeckt gar köstlich – probiert es aus. Dazu mache ich einen normalen Pizza- bzw. Brotteig und belege diesen ganz schlicht mit meiner Tomatensoße, Käse, Bananenstückchen und Chiliflocken.

In diesem Video zeigen wir euch, wie man sich bei Schnee und Kälte im Winter schützt. Genauer gesagt: Die Lippen. Die sind empfindlich und werden schnell spröde oder bekommen Risse. Mit einem selbst gemachten Lippenbalsam schützt ihr die Lippen perfekt.
