Einfacher Trick für glückliche Hühner
Wusstest du, dass dir Hühner Küchenabfälle in Fleisch und Eier verwandeln können? Hühner sind einfach die idealen Tiere für die Selbstversorgung. Zudem sind sie sind einfach zu halten und machen nur wenig Arbeit. Doch wer Hühner im Garten hält, der kennt das Problem: Milben. Von denen befreien sich die Hühner gerne mit einem Staubbad. Dazu habe ich ihnen einen Sandkasten in den Auslauf gebaut, mit Kabelsand (=feiner Sand) gefüllt und mit einem einfachen Blechdach überdacht. Die Hühner lieben es, im Sand zu baden und so die lästigen Parasiten loszuwerden.
